`KEMPA` IS ONE OF THE FOUR RELEASES THIS WEEK

Producer Anekal Balaraj has finally made arrangement for the release
of his 22 months hard work 'Kempa' launching his son Santosh in the
film. The film 'Kempa' directed by Jagadish and music scored by
Gurukiran is hitting the silver screen in 60 centers. Mohan Das Pai
has taken up the distribution of 'Kempa'. The other films set for
release on 9th of January are 'Taxi No.1, Anu and Chickpet Sachagalu.

The inordinate delay in seeing the film on silver screen is because of
the complete freedom given to director, music director for a precise
mass entertainer film making. While producer Anekal Balaraj has taken
four months to get the right theatres the music director Gurukiran has
taken three months for the re-recording.

This is the film that dates back to the days of 1997-98. The STF
attack at Gopinaththam the hot seat of fugitive Veerappan the
tribulations of the people living in that locality. Obtaining the
proper documents and submitting it to the concerned authorities'
director Jagadish proceeded to direct the film.

This is a mass entertainer 'Kempa'. There will be reality and
characters are very natural. The role of Shakeela who plays the
prostitute is an eye opener says Jagadish.

Santosh has liked the script and screenplay of the director and
expressed that he was bit uncomfortable at the dance portions. Music
director Gurukiran is confident of the success of the film like the
